Spring awakening in Salzburg’s Old Town: For four days, from March 20 to 23, 2024, around 180 brightly colored flowers, sustainably made from old vinyl records, will adorn the shop windows and entrances of the stores and exude a fragrant spring scent in the alleys and squares of the historic old town.
The creative workshop “Lebensarbeit” from the non-profit organization Soziale Arbeit gGmbH is a partner for the “Spring Awakening” campaign. The LEBENSARBEIT project is a low-threshold employment offer in the city of Salzburg for women and men to enable them to (re-)enter the job market. Each flower is unique, specially shaped and painted by hand. A fabric is attached to the inside, which is moistened with a fragrance of essential oils.
We are very pleased that we were able to support this campaign with the consent of our vinyl customers with retained samples and handed over many colorful records to Bernd Reisinger (authorized signatory, Soziale Arbeit gGmbH).
