Located in Salzburg, the Austrian facility was established in 1987 (Anif), the Thalgau plant in 1991.

 

It is Sony DADC Group’s headquarters and the biggest production site. Since our foundation, we have manufactured billions of physical discs. The activities in Thalgau focus on the high-volume manufacturing of physical discs for the games, video and music markets.

 

As a recognized technology leader for disc manufacturing services with state-of-the-art process application engineering labs and cleanroom facilities, Sony DADC’s current products include polymer injection molding and nanoimprint equipment, coating, photoresists, lithography, inspection/metrology systems.

 

Sony DADC services and supports our global partners and clients out of its headquarters in Thalgau. We operate a worldwide network of subsidiaries in Austria, Czech Republic and the United States of America, with more than 1000 employees. All our sites meet Sony brand standards for quality, environment, safety and security and were designed to the highest class A standards. Our customers rely here on our proven end-to-end supply chain solutions.
