For any information on PlayStation 2 or PlayStation Portable (PSP) and Universal Media Disc (UMD), please contact Wolfgang Fuchs.For the production of PlayStation discs you need to provide the input components described below. Sony DADC's Customer Service team will be pleased to support and advise you in the preparation stages
Input MediaThe CD-R or the DVD-R will be created by you and has to be verified by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. The Technical Requirements Checklist for PlayStation Software is available through Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
Label Printing
Sony DADC uses screen printing processes for printing the disc label as well as offset printing processes. The required source for this print is usually a label film which can be created e.g. in a graphic studio. The disc label for PlayStation games will be delivered by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe after verification.
Artwork&Packaging
Retail and Platinum products are packed in standard PlayStation or PlayStation 2 cases. Demo discs can be supplied on spindle, in pochette and maxicases. Please contact your Customer Service team to provide you with printed materials film specifications.
