Media Test Center

The Media Test Center service includes a thorough performance check of each DVD title. Sony DADC's technical team navigates DVD menus for functionality and views each title from beginning to end for audio, video and subtitle quality. The service also includes a hardware compatibility test. Technicians test sample discs on a variety of manufacturers' DVD players from the appropriate region to ensure content integrity and menu performance. The standard turn time for the service is 48 hours, with expedited 24-hour turns available. Because the Media Test Center is located in the replication plant, a tremendous amount of time is saved that would normally be spent shipping discs to outside vendors for testing.
