Do you have a title for which you only need a handful of copies ordered at a time? (Additionally tired of the costs involved in keeping large quantities of inventory in warehouses?) The waiting is finally over. Sony DADC has developed a new way to handle your situation – one that still gives you fast service, yet eliminates the need for bulk inventory. We’re calling it - Manufacturing on Demand or MOD. With this service our customers are able to place orders from one disc to approximately 200 discs, to be manufactured directly onto an industry standard, write once disc. This order can include not only four-color disc art, but also DVD jackets and folders. MOD discs are then distributed either direct-to-retail or directly to an end user who has already purchased/ordered the product. Using distribution and fulfillment tools, we are able to manage these orders in record time. Each order is treated as a fulfillment order and ships seamlessly upon receipt.
